Beth Johnson
In my 30+ year career teaching, I have taught most subjects and worked with students of all ages, pre-K through adult. I have worked in urban and rural schools and have spent the last 17 years working in Chico USD. I specialize in secondary math but have taught math in all grades. I have also worked with many student teachers, some of whom are now teaching in the Chico area and I train teachers in content and best practices in teaching.
Along with being the math specialist, I will be providing face to face tutoring for students in math. Tutors need to be flexible, patient, and kind and I try to be all that all the time.
