I’ve been in education for over thirty years as a junior high and high school teacher, an administrator, a curriculum specialist, and a program specialist for career and technical education pathways in Butte and Glenn counties.

After teaching Middle School and High School in the Sacramento area for 10 years, my husband and I returned to Butte County in 2014 to raise our family.  Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with schools in Butte County who are implementing thriving Career Technical Education programs.

Credential: Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Level II 
Experience: 21st year teaching
Subjects: Primarily US History, but have taught most of the Social Sciences, Math, English, Science, Drivers Education, Health, and Power Reading. 
Personal: Married 24 years and I have 3 kids. 
Hobbies: Building and fixing things, restoring old tools, gardening, and trail running Upper Park.

I have been a teacher in CUSD for 20 years.  I love working with students. 

Whitney Rozzano

Counselor
 
I am so excited to be on the Oak Bridge team.  I am a Chico native and love the community here, but I did live in Hawaii for 2 years.  I got my Bachelors from Chico State and my Masters in School Counseling from Brandman University.  I love being a counselor and look forward to meeting each of the students.
