Butte College Promise Scholarship
Butte College Promise is available to California residents who will be first–time college students, (including students who earned college units while still in high school) and complete a FAFSA or CA Dream Act application
Chico Community Scholarship Association
The Chico Community Scholarship Association is a local organization that provides many scholarships yearly to local and graduating students. The application normally opens around January and the deadline to apply is in February
UC Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan
UC's Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan will ensure that you will not have to pay UC’s systemwide tuition and fees out of your own pocket if you are a California resident whose total family income is less than $80,000 a year and you qualify for financial aid

CUTA Scholarship
1. Dependents of CUTA Members. Any graduating high school senior whose parent(s) is currently an active member of CUTA is eligible to apply for a Dependent Scholarship. It is not necessary that the recipient be graduating from a CUSD high school. The money for these scholarships is annually budgeted from our CUTA funds. Two $1,500 scholarships are available and the recipients are selected by our CUTA Scholarship Committee. Completed applications for CUTA dependent scholarships must be returned to the CUTA office by 5:00 p.m. on March 12, 2021. Applications not submitted to the CUTA office by that time and date cannot be considered for receipt of a scholarship.
2. CUSD Graduating Seniors. These “at large” scholarships are available to any graduating senior in CUSD, including dependents of CUTA members. Chico High and Pleasant Valley High each receive three scholarships. Fairview receives one of these scholarships. These are each $1,500. Completed applications for the CUSD Graduating Seniors “at large” Scholarships can be returned to the school’s respective counseling office by March 12, 2021 by 5:00 p.m.

CalKIDS
Those who qualify can recieve up to $1,500 for College.
Qualification criteria
- Recieved meals through the National School Lunch Program
- Submitted an Alternative Household Income Form
- Participated in CalFresh, CalWORKS, RDPIR or Medi-cal
- Was designated as an English Learner
- Was designated as migratory, homeless or foster youth
